What Our Clients Are Saying

  • “I am so grateful that I got to work with Dana and would highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in exploring breastfeeding.  As a first time mom, her guidance was absolutely invaluable.  Dana came to my house the day after I gave birth, and she was the calm and wise guiding hand that I needed in order to figure it out.  It took a few weeks, but she gave me the reassurance and the guidance that I needed to keep working at it, and eventually, it felt as natural as I imagined it would.  Had I not been able to work with Dana, I probably would have given up on it, missing out on this very special part of bonding with my baby.   Her background as a L&D nurse and a mother means that she is incredibly knowledgeable about all things baby and is an invaluable resource for any mother. She has a gift for being able to meet you exactly where you are at with no judgement and can problem solve on the fly. She is calm, insightful, grounded, and truly a magical baby breastfeeding whisperer.  Any mother and baby would be lucky to have Dana by their side, helping them to navigate this sometimes complicated and beautiful process.”

  • “Becky was with me right from the start of my breastfeeding journey. Even before I gave birth we had a prenatal session that put me at ease. After I gave birth she would visit me in my home and helped me with all matters of lactation in addition to answering the questions I had about caring for my newborn. She felt like a good friend who would come over and lend a hand. She was accessible and responsive throughout my journey.”

  • “Dana was an invaluable advisor and coach during our breastfeeding journey. From helping make breastfeeding second nature in the days after getting home, to teaching me tactics for getting through a bout of mastitis, to making a plan for going back to work and building a freezer stash, Dana was a calming, evidence based partner through everything. The whole experience would have been way more daunting without her.”

  • “I cannot thank Becky and Dana enough for their incredible support. They were immediately responsive in crisis moments, beyond generous with their time, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the individuals they work with. Their data-driven guidance helped create clarity despite the overwhelming noise in the feeding support world. With their expertise, patient, and unwavering encouragement, they helped me navigate challenges and gain confidence in my breastfeeding journey. I will always be grateful for their kindness and the lasting impact they’ve had on my experience as a mother.”

  • “I was just thinking today about the importance of the work ForeMilk does. How can we expect all women to naturally know how to breastfeed? There is so much to learn so many societal pressures on women. Dana & Becky showed me that I am enough for my baby. I would have definitely given up breastfeeding if it wasn’t for meeting them.”

  • “I had a very challenging start to breastfeeding and almost gave up. I started working with Dana and it completely changed the game! Now it’s going so well! I would have definitely given up if not for her. I’m so grateful for her guidance.”

  • Working with Dana has truly been a gift during my postpartum journey. From our first session (which took place in my house before my baby was born), she made me feel seen and supported. I had a very small baby (under 5lbs) who struggled to latch without a nipple shield. While I was in the hospital, I was seen by 3 different lactation consultants, each providing different information, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to manage feeding when I got home. Dana came over right away and helped me make sense of everything. She walked me through all of my options without pressure, helping me navigate feeding in a way that felt right for me.

As a nurse, Dana brings a depth of clinical knowledge and guidance that is always grounded in evidence-based best practices (something I really value as a research scientist myself). She helped me navigate not only the basics of feeding, but also more complex issues like managing a clogged duct and understanding how to safely continue breastfeeding while being treated for a post-labor infection.

Dana was kind, attentive, and responsive - I can’t recommend working with her highly enough!

  • Dana was the best! We were struggling with bottle aversion leading up to my return to work, and Dana created a great plan for us to implement and taught us lots of tools to get our daughter comfortable taking bottles. So grateful for her help!

  • Cannot speak more highly of Dana. If you are in need of a lactation consultant, she is the best there is. Always made herself available for sessions very quickly, incredibly knowledgable and helpful, and just has an amazingly calming demeanor. I always ended sessions with Dana feeling so much calmer, prepared and optimistic about my breastfeeding journey. She will be my first call for baby number 2!

  • Angels on earth is how I like to call Dana and Becky.
As a first time mom, living away from my family, their support meant everything to me.
I was lucky enough to have the support from both of them and I feel like words could not describe how special they are.
They went above and beyond to help me with any struggle that I had on the first few weeks of my breastfeeding journey. They were always so calm and friendly that even with all my insecurities and anxiety I never felt judged by them, actually it was the complete opposite: I felt seen and cared for. I will always remember them as angels that were there to guide me through this important path of feeding my daughter.
If you are reading this and looking for a breastfeeding consultant, don’t think twice. I’m sure they love what they do and could help you too.
