Our Philosophy

Two women standing in front of greenery, smiling at the camera. One is wearing a dark blouse and jeans with a brown belt, and the other is wearing a striped shirt and jeans. The background features leafy plants.

As lactation consultants, we believe in supporting the family as a cohesive unit throughout the infancy journey. With a calm and empathetic approach, we focus on compassionately guiding each woman toward achieving her individual goals, honoring her unique path to feeding her baby.

    Dana Brea BSN, RN, IBCLC

    CO-FOUNDER

Dana has been supporting families through their breastfeeding journeys for over 14 years, first as a Labor & Delivery nurse in Los Angeles and now as a co-founder of ForeMilk Lactation. As a working mom of two, Dana knows firsthand how precious — and how fleeting — those early feeding moments are. Breastfeeding became one of the most meaningful ways she bonded with her babies, and that experience is what drives her passion for this work every day.

Warm and deeply encouraging, Dana has a gift for helping moms feel seen and capable even in the most overwhelming moments. She holds the IBCLC certification, the gold standard in lactation care, and brings both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to every appointment. She believes every mom deserves to feel empowered in her feeding journey — whether that means exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or something in between.
